About Our Church

The Regina Caeli Catholic Church (RCCC), Karen Parish in Western Deanary was established in 1963 by the holy ghost fathers as an outstation of St. Austin Parish, Muthangari under the arch-diocese of Nairobi then led by Archbishop J.J. McCarthy. The Parish is founded on the inspiration of Our Lady queen of heaven.

Karen church was a place of prayers for Catholic Christians of European origin. It was a small structure and also served as office. In 1962, the current church was built through contributions
from parishioners on a monthly basis. The land where the church is situated was not bought; the missionaries got the land offer as a free offer for missionary purposes.

Our Vision

A well structured parish empowered holistically with Christ as our model.

Our Mission

To inspire and foster the holistic well-being of parishioners.

Goal
